What’s Included in the Latest update?

🎃 Halloween Mode: Spooky Swamp Is Live

Just in time for fall, Halloween Mode is back—this year with even more eerie sounds, animations, and lighting effects, now called Spooky Swamp. Activate it via the Rivian Mobile App v3.6.0, then head to All-Purpose Mode and tap the creepy swamp scene.

Heads up:

  • Horn & passive entry are disabled while in costume
  • Slight range decrease while active
  • Press the brake or toggle in the app to turn it off

🌡️ Climate Hold & Auto Ventilation

New climate upgrades enhance year-round comfort:

  • Climate Hold: Keeps the cabin conditioned for a set time after you exit—ideal for short errands or leaving passengers inside
  • Auto Cabin Ventilation: Circulates air in hot weather to prevent excessive cabin temps
  • Auto Air Recirculation: Dynamically balances interior and exterior air for efficiency and comfort

All features are controllable via the mobile app and help improve both comfort and energy usage.

Plug & Charge with Electrify America + IONNA

Rivian now supports Plug & Charge at Electrify America and IONNA fast-charging networks:

  • Automatically initiates charging with a card on file
  • Live charger status and speed visible in in-vehicle Navigation
  • Filter and prioritize chargers in Trip Preferences → Preferred Networks

This eliminates the need to use separate apps or RFID cards and makes public charging faster and simpler.

📲 App Launcher Customization

You can now fully customize the bottom app launcher on your center display:

  • Reorder or pin your favorite apps
  • Hold and drag to adjust layout
  • Tap “More” to access all available appss

This makes daily interactions more efficient—especially while navigating, using music, or managing climate settings.
